+ Cryosurgery + Laser Therapy
Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy occurs when a dose of light energy reaches target tissue and results in decreased inflammation, decreased pain, and accelerated healing. This doctor-prescribed, technician-driven modality effectively treats a wide variety of conditions including pre-surgical, post-surgical, acute, and chronic disease states.
Cryosurgery utilizes a device for delivery of liquified nitrous oxide, which allows our doctors to pinpoint the treatment site for rapid freezing and effective destruction of unwanted tissue, without damaging surrounding tissue. The treatment is appropriate for a variety of dermatologic applications due to the effectively low and destructive temperature delivered to the treatment site. It does not require anesthesia, which makes it ideal for older pets, although it is appropriate for just about any age. Application is easy, treatment time is brief, and the success rate is high.
